Paranoid economic optimists and climate change

Paranoid optimists sense a shift at the nexus of politics, economics and business, driven respectively by austerity, inequality and ethics (or lack thereof). The discourse of this not-yet-revolution: voter pattern shifts, broader than GDP societal welfare measures and consumer purchasing behavior, all takes place in the broader context of a threatened planet with the increasingly calamitous impacts of climate change.
